Marketing

We build websites for local businesses. Now we do their marketing too.

Their customers look for them on a phone. We know how those customers search, and that is the whole difference.

Wherever your customers look for you.

Search, maps, social. We work in the channels where a local business actually gets found.

SEO and maps

Your pages answer what people type into search, not what you call yourself. Plus a tidy Google Maps profile.

Meta Ads

Ads for people who are not looking for you yet. The photo of finished work decides, not the copy. Aimed at the area you really work in.

Common questions

Who pays the ad budget, you or us?

You do, and directly to Google or Meta from your own account and your own card. We do not touch the budget and we do not mark it up. Our fee is separate and does not move with how much is spent on ads. The accounts are set up in your name, so if we stop working together they stay with you, history included.

How fast do results show?

With paid advertising traffic goes up within days of launch, because you are buying it. How much of that turns into enquiries depends on where people land, and that gets tuned over the first month or two. SEO is a different race: in a competitive trade and city, changes in position usually show over months rather than weeks.

We will not promise you a date or a number of enquiries up front. Anyone who does is either guessing or counting on nobody checking a year later.

Do I need a new website first?

Often not. We tell you straight in the audit, because it is the first thing we look at. An existing site is usually worth fixing rather than replacing: a page per service, the phone number at the top, and faster loading on a phone.

There are sites, though, where paid traffic makes no sense: if it is not clear what you do and where, or you cannot call in one tap from a phone, you are paying for visits that go nowhere. If that is the case we say so, even when it means the work gets postponed.

Can you just do SEO, without a monthly retainer?

Yes. As a one-off we go through the queries, rewrite the page copy, fix the technical errors and sort out the Google Maps profile. You get it finished and you do not have to do anything further with it.

What a one-off cannot do: react to a competitor doing the same thing six months later. It is not a condition of working together, we just say it up front so it is not a surprise.

What does it cost?

It depends on how many channels are running and how big the region is. We tell you on the first call, before we do anything else. And before you pay us anything you get the free audit, so you know what you would be paying for. The ad budget is separate and goes straight to Google or Meta.
