Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data we process when running aetheron.cz, why, for how long, and what rights you have. We try to collect as little as possible. In force from 14 October 2026.

1. Who processes your data

The data controller is Aetheron, Prague, the operator of aetheron.cz (“we”). Contact for all data protection matters: aetheron@aetheron.cz, phone Matyáš Musela · 733 230 308, Filip Berčík · 774 915 200.

2. What data we process and why

Enquiries by form, e-mail or phone	Data: Name, e-mail, phone, the text of your message, and your website address if you give it. Purpose and legal basis: To reply, prepare a design and an offer. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (point f). Retention: Until the enquiry is dealt with and at most 12 months after the last contact, unless a contract follows.
Customers	Data: Identification and contact details, billing details, the content of communication about the job. Purpose and legal basis: Performing the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and meeting legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax (point c). Retention: For the duration of the contract and then as required by law; accounting records are kept for 10 years.
Server logs	Data: IP address, time of access, requested page, browser type. Purpose and legal basis: Keeping the site secure and running, detecting abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Retention: For as long as needed for security and operation; logs are kept by the hosting provider.
Language choice	Data: The chosen language (cs/en), stored only in your browser. Purpose and legal basis: So the site remembers your language. It is not sent to us or to anyone else, and it is not personal data we hold. Retention: Until you clear it in your browser settings.

3. Cookies, tracking and external services

• We use no analytics, advertising or other tracking cookies and no tracking pixels. That is why the site has no cookie banner.
• We host our fonts ourselves. Showing a page does not load Google Fonts or any other font from a third-party server, so your IP address is not sent anywhere because of fonts.
• Videos and images on the site are stored with us, not on external platforms.
• If we later add visitor measurement, advertising or embedded third-party content, we will say so here and ask for consent first wherever cookies or technologies require it.

4. Who receives your data

We do not sell data and do not use it for third-party advertising. Only providers we need to run things may process it: our hosting and e-mail provider, an accountant or tax adviser, and public authorities where the law requires. We have or will have a data processing agreement with each processor. If data ever left the European Economic Area, it would only be on the basis of an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

5. How we protect data

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only people who need the data for their work can access it. We do not share enquiry data with third parties other than those listed above.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• know what data we process about you and get a copy (right of access),
• ask for inaccurate data to be corrected,
• ask for erasure where there is no reason or legal duty to keep it,
• ask us to restrict processing,
• receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable format (portability),
• object to processing based on legitimate interest,
• withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (this does not affect processing before withdrawal).

Just write to aetheron@aetheron.cz. We reply within one month at the latest. If you believe we process data unlawfully, you can complain to the supervisory authority: the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz.

7. Automated decisions and profiling

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects.

8. Links and samples

The website designs in our portfolio are fictional proposals and process no personal data. Links to other sites are subject to those sites' own policies, for which we are not responsible.

9. Changes

We may update this policy when we change how the site runs or the law changes. The current version is always here and its effective date is shown at the top.
